Strong Arguments For Back Patients
LumboTrain follow-up study proves effectiveness yet again.
For LumboTrain, retailers can now mention two studies when talking to patients: the results show that the back brace activates the torso muscles and helps reduce pain.
Both studies at Jena University Hospital investigated the effects of LumboTrain on the muscle activity when walking and under static loading. The first study with only healthy participants conducted in 2014 showed significantly increased activity in several torso muscles when wearing the Bauerfeind brace. The current follow-up study now confirmed these muscle-activating effects even in patients with non-specific back pain in the lumbar spine. Patients also reported less pain compared with the control group who did not wear LumboTrain.
